History
2015
BHS Services S.A. was established with a primary focus on bridging the gap between regulation and IT. The initial founders were Xavier Bück, Marco Houwen, and Jean-Louis Schiltz.

Luc Maquil and Michel Maquil have acquired majority ownership of BHS Services S.A. and expanded the company’s services with outsourcing regulatory advisory.
2016
Thierry André joined the Company with the goal of developing AML-related business lines.

Implementation of the RegTech platform KYCTECH was started.
2017
The company was renamed to MAQIT S.A. and had a team of four employees.
2018
Thierry André became a shareholder of MAQIT S.A.
With the coming into force of CSSF Circular 17/654 on IT outsourcing and using cloud infrastructure, MAQIT significantly diversified its services, including regulatory filings and partnerships with major providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud. The company's workforce expanded to eight employees.
2022
In response to client demand for streamlined IT regulatory compliance services, MAQIT started development of the RegTech platform Regulat.io.
2024
MAQIT expanded its service portfolio to include compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), integrating these requirements into its offerings alongside the RegTech platform, Regulat.io.
